Functional Treatment Plan
Tired of battling persistent symptoms like fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, chronic pain, allergies, or gut issues?
Frustrated that conventional medicine hasn’t uncovered the root cause on your health challenges? Our doctors combine decades of clinical experience with advanced training in functional medicine to guide you back to optimal health.
We create personalised, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to your unique needs—helping you feel like yourself again.
Do I need to be a registered NHS patient to access Lantern Clinic's GP services?
No. Our services are entirely private and open to anyone. You do not need to be registered with us or de-register from your NHS GP.
Can I still see my NHS GP if I come to Lantern Clinic privately?
Yes. Our private GP services are designed to complement, not replace, your NHS GP. You can continue using NHS services as normal.
What happens during a GP appointment?
You’ll have dedicated time (30 or 60 minutes) to discuss your concerns in detail. We take a full medical history, explore symptoms, and offer advice, treatment, or further investigations as needed.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online, by phone, or via our contact form. Same-week appointments are often available.
Are blood tests and prescriptions included in the appointment fee?
No, these are billed separately. Your GP will discuss any recommended investigations or prescriptions during your consultation.
Can I use the Annual GP Care Package if I'm a new patient?
The Annual Plan is usually offered after an initial consultation or treatment plan. If you're new, we recommend starting with an Initial GP Appointment.
What kind of support does the Annual Package include?
One comprehensive annual health assessment, lasting around 60 minutes, to review your medical history, current concerns, and goals.
Three follow-up appointments spaced throughout the year, tailored to your needs (typically 30–45 minutes each).
One advanced blood test, with full clinical interpretation.
A personalised health plan, created from your assessment and test results.
Secure messaging access to your GP for general advice, updates, or clarification between appointments.
Free referral letters, review of test results, and simple medical advice are included as part of your care.
How does the messaging service work?
You can message us securely via our platform for non-urgent medical questions or progress updates. It’s monitored regularly but not for emergency use.
Is the Annual Plan refundable if I don’t use all the services?
The plan is designed as a commitment to proactive health. It is non-refundable once started, but we’ll always do our best to accommodate your needs.
FAQ
Let us help you find care that's right for you.

“After 10 years of searching for an answer to an answer to my gut problem, chronic pain and fatigue, I found the answer in Dr Margarita. After being told by the NHS and private consultants that they couldn’t find a problem, certainly one which could be fixed surgically, I was beginning to question my sanity! Finding and meeting Dr Margarita was the last roll of the dice for me.”
